Our festival offers an incredible variety of entertainment for all ages, at no cost.
Also, on the streets you will find craft booths offering a variety of hand made items for your enjoyment, or to purchase. There are many wooden crafts, hand sewn, painted items to purchase for yourself or for gifts. You will find antiques, old collectibles, new collectibles, useful items, in the many booths lining the downtown streets. Homemade baked goods are also available.
The variety of foods available will whet anyone's appetite. Food is a main attraction for all attending the Festival. There are benches lined down the middle of the streets, available to sit and rest, eat or just visit. There are also several dinners offered during the weekend, to satisfy many hungry festival-goers.
The free entertainment enables families to come and enjoy themselves, without spending a lot of money. The variety of entertainment enables all ages to have a good time. We have two high school music groups entertaining on Sunday afternoon, plus some sports-type contests. The parade always has a huge attendance and has a nice variety of entries. The Auto Show is one of the biggest in the area and is in a nice, shaded park, where you can enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon.
Games and carnival rides are available for all ages: small children to adults. Parents can put their children on the small rides or they can ride with them on the bigger rides. Teenagers love to enjoy the excitement of a good carnival ride.
