History of the Hendricks County Rib-Fest
The Avon Chamber of Commerce sponsored the first Hendricks County Rib-Fest on July 2, 2005 at the Washington Township Park in Avon. The event was a huge success!
Rib-Fest has become an annual tradition and features live entertainment, games for kids, lots of food, and fireworks! Local restaurants compete for bragging rights of "best ribs" & "best sauce" as judged by the local tasters. Hendricks County Rib Fest is always held the Saturday before the Independence Day so mark your calendars in advance!
We look forward to making this event more exciting with each year!
