| Description: | From New Carlisle Hometown Days Website: In 2005, upon hearing about the discontinuation of the annual Historical Days festival, a group of citizens formed a committee to carry on the summer festival tradition. The festival was renamed Hometown Days. Hometown Days continues to provide a safe, fun, and family-oriented event on the last full weekend of each July.
