Artie Fest 2015 will take place July 10 - 12th in Martinsville. Plan now on being a part of Artie Fest #6 - a wonderful community celebration that offers something for everyone.

What started out as a few friends and former classmates conversing on Facebook has exploded into a significant family friendly festival, attracting residents as well as visitors. The stories that have been born out of Artie Fest include the formation of an active Community Band, the beginning of "Cinema on the Square", and the creation of a Scholarship fund, not to mention the many friends who reconnected.

For early arrivals, don't miss out on the Artesian Taste hosted by the Martinsville Rotary Club at the Art Sanctuary on Thursday evening. Friday night events planned will again presentations of the Legacy and Ambassador awards. This year, the Artie Party will be on Friday night and we have added a Artie Fit a fitness tournament, and Artie Paint, a Paint Like Me event - all downtown, on the square!

On Saturday, highlights include a Kiwanis pancake breakfast, a Classic Car Show, Wander Indiana Bike Shop Tour great entertainment, 5K Run & Family Walk, Artie Fest Craft Show, and Cornhole Tournament. Watch for new children's games and activities beginning at noon on Saturday and Saturday evening will feature Cinema on the Square with a great family movie!

On Sunday, Artie Fest wraps up with the Artie Splash at Jimmy Nash Park Pool, featuring $1 admission and Wine, Music & Fun at Cedar Creek Winery with Bigg Country.

Several classes have planned their class reunions around Artie Fest Weekend, and we encourage others to do the same. Plan now to attend this year's Artie Fest July 10 - 12th.
