As you may know, the Indianapolis Air Show was disbanded after not being able to host an event for the third year in a row. The dissolving of Indianapolis primary source of aviation entertainment and education has left a void in the Indianapolis community. With the rich aviation history that Indiana has, it is important for us to continue to bring aviation alive for those curious to learn more about flight. It is equally as important to remember and honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the military and flew the historical aircraft that have preserved our freedoms. The 2016 Warbird Expo event helps fill this void by bringing a hands on approach to aviation education, and remembrance and honor of those who have served in the military.

In its fourth year as a two-day event, Friday & Saturday, June 17-18th, 2016, at Indianapolis Regional Airport in Mt. Comfort, IN. Warbird Expo is hosted by the Indiana Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) (Fed ID 74-1484491) with the cooperation of Indy Jet. The primary goals of the 2016 Warbird Expo are to:

Gather and Honor veterans
Showcase Warbirds and American military aviation heritage
Introduce individuals and youth to all aspects of aviation
