7th Annual Artie Fest

Artie Fest 2016 will take place July 8 - 10th in Martinsville. Plan now on being a part of Artie Fest #7 - a wonderful community celebration that offers something for everyone.

What started out as a few friends and former classmates conversing on Facebook has become a significant family friendly festival, attracting residents as well as visitors.

Friday night events planned will again include presentations of the Legacy and Ambassador awards. Other highlights of Friday night activities include an open air concert, Artie Fit, Artie Paint, Paint Like Me events (one for adults and one for the kids to enjoy - all downtown, on the square! New this year are the Artie Fest Photography Contest and the Chalk Art Contest. Check out our event listings for all the details.

On Saturday, highlights include a Kiwanis pancake breakfast, a Classic Car Show, great entertainment, 5K Run & Family Walk, Artie Fest Craft Show, and Cornhole Tournament. Our annual Cinema on the Square event will be held on Saturday night.

Be sure to visit our food & beverage court both days and watch for details on children's games and activities that will take place on Friday & Saturday.

On Sunday, Artie Fest wraps up with the Artie Splash at Jimmy Nash Park Pool, featuring $2 admission and Wine, Music & Fun at Cedar Creek Winery with Bigg Country.

Several classes have planned their class reunions around Artie Fest Weekend, and we encourage others to do the same. Plan now to attend this year's Artie Fest July 8 - 10th.
